Special guest of the evening will be Leo van Doesburg from Belgium. will speak on “Advocating Jesus’ Values in Secular Society: Lessons from Europe”.
Leo van Doesburg is Director of European Affairs for the European Christian Political Movement (ECPM), a European political party committed to advancing Christian Democratic values with their social expression in public life. He is also the Director of Operations of the Dignitatis Humanae Institute and Secretary General of the European Parliament Working Group on Human Dignity. He is actively involved in policy-making at the European Parliament and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and has offered many trainings and courses on Christian Democracy, Freedom of Religion & Conscience, Family Values, Human Dignity and Peace & Reconciliation. He also cooperates with other Christian organizations and participates in panel discussions and debates concerning Christian politics. Leo has been also actively involved in the ministry of ROM – Renewing Our Minds as frequent speaker, mentor and team member.
